Dr. Rajeev Chitguppi is a Periodontist (Specialist in treatment of gum diseases and loose teeth) from Mumbai. He did his MDS in Periodontics from Govt. Dental College, Mumbai in 2002 and since then he has been into private consulting. Selection of patients and proper treatment planning hold the key for success in Periodontics. Dr. Rajeev has been emphasising on interdisciplinary approach wherein Periodontal surgeries as well as nonsurgical strategies can be optimally integrated with other branches of dentistry to increase overall treatment outcomes and minimize disease recurrence. He has given lectures on "how to include periodontics in day-to-day clinical practice". He is a dedicated academician too; working currently as a Reader in Terna Dental College and Hospital, Navi Mumbai. He is very active in the organizing research activities for Indian Dental Association. He is also the research editor of publication of Indian Dental Association.He owns the first interactive webpage on periodontics in India. |
